  • I'm an event organizer, venue owner, or manager and I'd like to potentially set up an Engage Platform of my own.

  • I just completed a Like action but haven't received any points. What gives?

    +

    Sometimes it takes a little time for the Engage Platform to receive the necessary 'Like' information from Facebook. Try refreshing your screen to see your points awarded. If that doesn't work, you may have to log out and then back in. You've earned the points, it just takes a few seconds for them to display.

  • This still isn't working!

    +

    If you're still not receiving points following a Facebook action, it's probably related to your permission settings. Try adjusting these to complete all social actions.

  • I clicked on the YouTube Watch action but didn't receive any points.

    To receive points for a 'Watch' action, you need to watch the entire YouTube video. After the video is over, wait a few moments and your points will be awarded to you. If you 'x' out before the video finishes, you will not receive the points.

  • I just completed a Follow action but haven't received any points.

    After you connect to Twitter via the Engage platform, you'll have to re-click that Twitter action. You'll now be able to complete Twitter actions and receive points instantaneously.

  • I just signed up, but cannot complete the Twitter and Facebook actions.

    Did you just add your name, email, and password? If so, you need to connect to your Facebook and Twitter accounts to complete these actions. You may do so from the log-in page or by clicking one of the 'Tweet' or 'Post' actions.

  • I've referred a billion friends and haven't received any points!

    Woah, thanks for all of the referrals! Also, referral points are awarded only after a friend has signed up and completed at least one action. Also, sometimes it takes a few minutes to receive referral info from Facebook. Try refreshing your screen or logging out and then back in to see your points updated.

  • I just posted an action to Facebook and received more than 150 points. Am I going to be penalized for this?

    Absolutely not! Certain 'Post' actions give you points for every 'Like' they receive. You're probably earning more points because your friends love your content. Nice work!

  • I want to earn points by donating, but I'd like to do it via a different charity.

    We're totally open to adding new 'Donate Actions' for charities that want to participate in an Engage platform. It's free to them and a great way to increase donations. Send us your recommendation to answers@fanfueled.com.

  • Why do I have so many FanFueled points, I haven't even played that Engage Platform yet?

    We're all about rewarding any and all Engage players. That's why we give you one FanFueled point for every 5 you earn on another platform.

  • What's a Golden Ticket?

    WHAT ISN'T A GOLDEN TICKET?! Sorry about that. I'm just really excited to tell you about it. Once you sign up for an Engage Platform, you are eligible for a Golden Ticket. This means that at anytime, we can reward you with a random awesome prize, like Coachella Passes. (Seriously).

  • I've just redeemed a prize. When will I get it?

    If you've redeemed a prize for a platform that is ongoing - like one for a venue or a sports team - your merchandise will be shipped to you within two weeks. If you've redeemed a prize for a platform that has an end date - like one for a festival - you will be shipped your prize following the event.

  • What if I've redeemed for a ticket or an artist meet-and-greet and the festival is tomorrow?

    If your prize is time sensitive, the Engage organizer will coordinate with you regarding redemption. For tickets, you will most likely be added to a Will Call list. If you've won a prize, both FanFueled and the Engage organizer will make sure that you receive it in plenty of time.

  • I just entered a raffle and received a confirmation email. Does that mean I won?

    Not yet. By entering the raffle, you are added to an exclusive drawing for the prize. Only players that have accumulated the necessary amount of points will be included in the raffle. And the best part about raffle prizes is that you will not lose your points unless you win. So, once you earn enough points to be eligible for a raffle, we recommend entering as many as you'd like.

  • When will the raffle winners be announced?

    Raffle winners are typically announced 3 days before the event. Check the rewards details for each prize to see the exact announcement date.

  • I'm playing an Engage platform that says that the top player will win the grand prize. What does this mean?

    +

    This means that the player with the most points at the end of the platform is the winner. You can find the end date for the platform you're playing in its Terms & Conditions. Also, keep in mind that if you're at the top and you redeem for another prize, this may affect your standing on the leader board. The grand prize goes to the player at the top of the board when the program ends, not to the user with the most total points.

  • Oh no! I just redeemed a prize and I inserted the wrong address.

  • I see that FanFueled also does ticketing. What's that about?

    FanFueled is also a DIY ticketing and social marketing platform for live events. We provide event organizers and venues with a comprehensive set of tools to sell tickets online, accelerate sales, market events, manage inventory, streamline check-in, and more.   • Can I do ticketing through my Engage Platform?

    ABSOLUTELY! Players will earn points for purchasing tickets to any of your events. This way, you can incentivize sales through your very own game-based rewards platform.

  • What rewards should we offer?

    That's 100% up to you. Traditionally, our clients have offered free passes, artist meet-and-greets, VIP upgrades, merchandise, posters, song downloads and more. The better the prizes, the better the platform. However, you can get as creative as you'd like. We've given away opportunities to dance on stage with an artist and free grub. We've also give away 'Engage Bucks' that are good for a pre-determined amount at your venue or event.

  • How many points should I make these prizes?

    Let us handle that. Based on the length of the program and an estimated amount of participants, we will determine the appropriate amount of points for each prize. You can also offer your best prizes to the players at the top of the leader board at the end of your platform.

  • Oh I don't know. I don't want one really great player winning all of my prizes.

    Then let's do a raffle! You can set each prize at a certain point value and have players enter an exclusive raffle only after they've reached the assigned value.

  • Do we pick our actions?

    Yes. Take a look at our platform at FanFueledEngage.com to get an idea of the type of actions we can do. You will decide the content that populates these actions.

  • How often do you update actions?

    +

    As long as we have a list of actions from you before the platform launches, we will add 5-10 new actions a week. We can either add them all at once or stagger them across a couple days. Once a platform is live, you may send us more actions, we just need them at least one week before you'd like them live.

  • Say we move forward with this, what will you need from me to get started?

    We will provide you with a template to fill out that will have fields for all of the launch actions and prizes. It will also have fields for two weeks worth of actions. For every prize, we will need an image that is 357 x 230. We will also need a main image for your landing page that is 1200 x 550 or 1200 x 400.

  • How long does it take to get one of these up?

    Once we have all of the necessary content from you, it will take 2-4 days to make this live. Keep in mind though that these estimates are only good if we have all of the content from you.

  • How do I set-up an event?

    To create an event, sign up for an account here: https://www.fanfueled.com/User/Login. After you have created an account, you can set-up an event here: http://www.fanfueled.com/EventWizard . For a step-by-step tutorial on how to post an event, go to: http://www.tildee.com/1JoXUc.

  • Is there any fee to me, the Event Organizer, for selling tickets online through FanFueled?

    Absolutely not! FanFueled is 100% free for the Event Organizer. We add a small service fee to every ticket purchased, which is paid by the ticket buyer.

  • What if I want my ticket buyers to pay a flat fee?

    That’s no problem at all. During the set-up process, you will have the option to bake-in your fees. This will result in a flat fee for the ticket buyer and we will take the service fees out of the final payout.

  • How do I get a custom venue or landing page?

    If you are hosting multiple events at one location, we will build you a custom landing page at no cost to you. (Here’s an example: https://www.fanfueled.com/venues/comedybarchicago). To get a custom landing page, please send answers@fanfueled.com a description of your venue, an image and a link to your events on FanFueled.

  • What do you collect for service fees?

    We charge a 3% + 30 cent credit card fee and we’re proud to have some of the lowest service fees in the business. Here is a breakdown of our fees:
    For tickets $1 -$10.00, service fees are $1.49
    For tickets $10.01-$24.99, service fees are $1.99
    For tickets $25-$49.99, service fees are $2.49
    For tickets $50-$99.99, service fees are $2.99
    For tickets $100 - $199.99, service fees are $3.99
    Service fees increase $1 every hundred dollars after that with a cap at $9.99.

  • Am I paying for your Social Sharing feature?

    Nope. We allocate 50% of our service fees to reward your ticket buyers for spreading the word of your events. When a fan successfully refers a friend to your event, we pay them commission. This way, we help ignite word-of-mouth marketing, cutting down on promotional costs for your events.

  • What ticket options do you provide/ How do we check in guests?

    You can choose one of three options: Print-at-Home, Will Call, or Hard Tickets. We send every ticket buyer an email with a print-at-home ticket. Each print-at-home ticket will correspond directly with the real-time guest list we provide for you that can be accessed by logging into your account. (This is how you can conduct Will Call). Our print-at-home tickets also have a barcode that can be scanned. For hard tickets, we will mail the user a ticket and shipping costs are tacked onto the final price.

  • How do I scan tickets?

    FanFueled has built a revolutionary scanning app. that transforms your smart phone into a scanner. Wave your phone over the QR code on the print-at-home ticket and it will register whether it’s a legitimate ticket or not. (This way, we ensure that there will be no duplicates). If you’d like to use the FanFueled Scanning App for your next event, please email answers@fanfueled.com or call 312.321.0111 to speak to a FanFueled representative and we will get you set up.

  • SETTING UP AN EVENT:
  • I see there are two options for collecting my funds for tickets sold – BrainTree and PayPal.

    We offer our Event Organizers the option to be paid through our credit card processor (full service option) or through their own PayPal account (self service option). The main difference between these options is time of payment. If you choose to be paid through PayPal, you will receive your funds 24-48 hours after each ticket has been sold. If you choose to be paid by BrainTree, we will be releasing all of your funds within 24 hours after the event has occurred and you will receive those funds 3-4 days after that. The funds will be released to the account that you set up via the event creation wizard. Note that by choosing PayPal, you are responsible for any refunds and PayPal fees DO apply. If you choose to be paid by BrainTree, you will be responsible for notifying FanFueled of any refunds. Please call 312.321.0111 or email answers@fanfueled.com with any questions.

  • Are there contracts or sign-up fees involved with selling tickets through FanFueled?

    No. You won’t be asked to sign a contract or ever have to pay a sign-up fee. We take pride in our Do-It-Yourself approach to online event management and it’s never been easier with FanFueled.

  • We’re putting on a small event. Can we still use FanFueled?

    Yes! We’ve handled events with guest lists over 2,500 attendees, down to just a few! We built a simple, yet comprehensive online ticketing solution with every kind of Event Organizer in mind.

  • My event is free to attend. Can we use FanFueled just to manage our guest list?

    Absolutely. Set your ticket price at $0.00 and your event attendees won’t be charged a thing. You also still have access to all of the features a paid event would receive.

  • PURCHASING TICKETS:
  • Do I have to be a FanFueled user to purchase tickets?

    +

    Yes. You can create an account here: https://www.fanfueled.com/User/Login. In order to reward you for sharing and send you your ticket, we need to capture your name and email address. Signing up only takes a couple seconds.

  • What credit cards do you accept?

    +

    Currently, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. If the event is set up through PayPal, you can use any card through their gateway.

  • I’m not able to go to the event anymore. Can I receive a refund?

    +

    Per our ticketing agreement with Event Organizers, they have the right to choose to accept refunds or not. If they have approved refunds, you have within 96 hours of the event to request a refund. It can take up to 24-48 hours for the refund to be credited to your account.

  • I’ve been charged two times on my credit card because it kept getting declined until it went through.

    This happens because your bank hasn’t received confirmation from our credit card processor about the declined transactions. Please allow up to 72 hours for the charges to drop before calling your bank.

  • SHARING FUNCTIONALITY:
  • Why should I share on FanFueled?

    +

    We allocate half of our fees to pay fans to spread the word of the events that they’re attending. Following a purchase on FanFueled, be sure to share the event to Facebook or Twitter. If a friend buys a ticket from your social link, we pay you commission. When fans spread the word, we share the wealth.

  • Where can I find how many rewards I’ve earned?

    Simply log into your account, go to ‘My FanFueled > My Rewards’ and you’ll see an amount under your name. This is a real-time total of your rewards.

  • How do you know to give me the correct rewards from people I referred?

    When you bought a ticket through FanFueled, you were given a unique URL. This URL is associated with your account. If you shared the URL link across your social networks, anyone who clicks through the link is tracked in our system to your account and the rewards are distributed appropriately.

  • How can I earn more rewards?

    Great question! You can do a lot with your link. Have a blog? Upload a picture of the band you’re going to see and have the picture link to the event page (with your unique URL, of course). How many email contacts do you have? That’s also a great way to see a spike in your rewards account. Don’t forget about Facebook and Twitter. We make this extremely easy – just click on the Facebook and Twitter buttons on the confirmation page after you’ve bought a ticket to automatically share your unique URL across your social networks!

  • How can I receive funds for rewards earned?

    Once you’ve reached $10.00 in rewards earned, you can cash out through either PayPal or a check. If you choose to be paid by check, please send your name and address to answers@fanfueled.com.
